About these recordings

Katagiri Roshi gave these talks at the Minnesota Zen Meditation Center and at Hokyoji monastery. They were recorded on two-sided cassette tapes, so most recordings have short gaps where the tape was turned over. For some talks each side is listed separately. The digitizing improves the sound where it can, but not every recording offers an ideal listening experience. The Audio Archive Project is preserving Katagiri Roshi’s legacy by digitizing them.
